ToyotaAsia - The Indonesian market officially launched the BMW M8 Coupe Competition and the BMW M8 Gran Coupe Competition with each selling price, namely, the BMW M8 Coupe is IDR 6,749 billion and the BMW M8 Gran Coupe is IDR 6,689 billion.
On Friday (28/8/2020) BMW officially gave information that the two types of BMW were equipped with a high-revving V8 engine and an output of 625 hp, M xDrive and Active M Differential and an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission.
Of course, the BMW engine has been fitted with the distinctive power delivery associated with the BMW M engine. This is one of the best features of the V8 engine fitted to the new luxury BMW M8 Gran Coupe.
The BMW M8 Coupe has a high-revving eight-cylinder engine size and is equipped with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology which is capable of producing a maximum speed of 600 hp.
Meanwhile, the BMW M8 Competition and also the new BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe are capable of producing a maximum power of 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque. So, these two cars are declared to be able to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.2 seconds.
According to Bayu Riyanto who is Vice President Sales for BMW Indonesia, M8 has targeted customers who like the sensation of driving at engine speed and adrenaline which can be modified. And most importantly, BMW M8 Coupe Competition drivers can choose TRACK mode in addition to ROAD and SPORT.
The standard specifications of the BMW M8 include electronically controlled dampers as well as better electromechanical M Servotronic steering support.
