To Be Launched Next Year

TA- Honda City Facelift - After introducing the blend of MPV and crossover, BR-V, the updated Brio and Amaze, Honda is now working on one of its best-selling cars, City. Yes, the Honda City facelift will be introduced in the Indian market by the next year. The current generation was introduced in the year 2013 and the update was due for some time but, now the Japanese automaker is all set to bring the same. The Honda City facelift will be quite similar to the Honda Greiz sedan which is being offered in China. The Greiz is based on the City sedan but, gets slightly tweaked in styling.

Honda City Facelift - Considering the powertrain of Honda City facelift, the updated sedan will be offered with a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel options. The refreshed sedan is also expected to get a new nose and a chin with a thick chrome finish on the grille just like the existing version and the headlight units will be reprofiled and will come with projector units. The front will also enclose more prominent air damps and fog lamps. At the back, the bumper will be also restyled and will feature more prominent LED inserts that mimic Honda’s latest design language, which is also evident on the latest Civic and the CR-V.

Honda City Facelift - The side profile is likely to be same as the existing version but, with new alloy wheels to accentuate the overall profile of the sedan. In the cabin, Honda will load the refreshed sedan with latest equipment and new infotainment system with features like Apple CarPlay. The City facelift will make it more competitive in the segment, and will compete against the likes of to be launched Rapid facelift, Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Fiat Linea and Volkswagen Vento.
